Which Class?
Foundation Class
A great way to get started with yoga. You don’t need any experience and it’s suitable for all levels
of health. You will be introduced to the foundations of yoga. This class is also suitable for those who have practiced before.

Yoga for Wellbeing
No experience required, and is also suitable if you have practiced yoga before.

Progressive Class
Suitable for people who have already participated in a Satyananda
yoga class for at least two terms and for people who want to be able to incorporate a program at home. You need to be able to sit comfortably
for at least 20 minutes and have practiced a form of meditation. The postures
require a greater degree of steadiness, concentration and coordination.

What to wear
Wear loose comfortable clothing, so you have freedom of movement. You’ll
need to take your shoes off, but you can keep socks on.
What to bring
Yoga mat or towel to lie down on, blanket to cover yourself during
relaxation and meditation.
Eating before a class?
It is important not to eat prior to the yoga class, best to do it on an
empty stomach, so ensure that you haven’t eaten for at least 1 ½
hours before the class.
If you run late
Sometimes you might be running late, no worries, come along when you can,
just come into the room quietly. Better that you have 30 mins of good
stuff rather than none at all.
Remember
This is your time. Complete indulgence for yourself to chill out, get
some exercise and feel really good afterwards.
